This is more than a slogan for us, but something we attempt to live out in everything we do as a church. We want to reach our community for Christ, not for our glory, but for his. We have the joy of knowing God's love personally and we want others to know it, too.
The desire to reach others with the Gospel is what led a devoted group of believers to found Garwood in 1964. We are grateful for the foundation they laid for us, but are unsatisfied to rest on their laurels. We are looking to the future, working to further advance the work of Christ in our community and world.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28: 19-20
